Katherine Scott Jones — Promotional Materials Design

Katherine Scott Jones worked with Laura and the Blogging Bistro team to give her brand an overhaul. We refreshed Katherine’s brand messaging, crafted website content, designed and developed a custom WordPress website, and designed an array promotional materials:

“Laura and her team check all the boxes! Keen attention to detail, clear and timely communications, an intuitive grasp on what the customer wants—this team really knows how to deliver. Time and again, in creating multiple products—from a custom-designed website to multiple promotional graphics—Blogging Bistro gave me value-added service that exceeded my expectations.”

Carol Loewen — Logo Design

Carol Loewen and Laura worked together for several months prior to creating her custom WordPress website.

In addition to updating her brand message, writing website content, selecting a color palette, and planning an email strategy, we designed this logo that features a script monogram of Carol’s initials, plus quill and cross icons that subtly represent her faith-based message.

“Working with Laura has been a delight and challenge. I’ve learned a great deal throughout the process as Laura and her team took my vision, preferred colors and styles, and created a beautiful, interactive logo and website… I highly recommend Laura’s coaching and teaching and am grateful for the privilege and fun of working with her.”

Logo design for Sarah Sundin
Sarah Sundin — Logo Design

We designed Sarah’s original logo and website back in 2014. In 2022, we redesigned her logo and website. Because Sarah writes fiction set during the World War II era, we went with a traditional wordmark logo with an allied star symbol.

Laura and her team do an outstanding job! They listened to my needs, translated my vague ideas onto the screen, and talked me through everything in a clear and logical manner. Recommended with great enthusiasm!

When Janet F. Salazar asked us to create her first-ever website, we started by designing a logo. She requested a simple logo that featured a monogram of her initials.

I am just starting out and have no experience with creating a presence online. I was blown away by how Laura and her team intuitively figured out what I needed and created the feeling and the professional quality I wanted. The whole logo and website design experience was very positive and the results surpassed my expectations.

Lisa Baldwin Logo | created by the team at BloggingBistro.com
Lisa Baldwin — Logo Design

When Lisa Baldwin was preparing to publish her memoir, she asked the Blogging Bistro team to design an inspirational logo that she could use in a variety of ways, and an easy-to-navigate two-page website.

The icon in her logo depicts Lisa’s “Life Stories” theme, in which she encourages readers to explore their own stories of discovery and healing. Lisa can pull apart the elements in her logo design and use them in various ways: icon only, icon plus her name, her name and tagline only.

I am delighted with the results of my logo. I am so grateful for the knowledge and skills of Laura and her team to bring to life my vision for my logo.

Tessa Afshar — Logo Design

The Blogging Bistro team has partnered with best-selling author, Tessa Afshar, for years. When she asked us to refresh the design of her custom WordPress website, we started by updating her logo.

Her simple, straighforward logo mirrors the typography on several of her book covers, which creates a cohesive visual brand.

We delivered her logo in a variety of colors so Tessa has options for varying the look for social media posts, letterhead, and book launch swag.

Lash & Blow Beauty Bar — Logo Design

We have been assisting Angela Welsh with her branding needs since 2014. When she opened a new salon in late 2020, we designed an elegant logo that incorporated some of her favorite elements from her previous brand.

In addition to designing rectangular and circular versions of this logo, we also created business cards, appointment cards, an A-frame sign and a large pedestal sign for her storefront.

Tracie Heskett — Logo Design

When Tracie Heskett asked us to design her logo, we started by creating three distinct design “looks” — classic, hybrid, and whimsical. Tracie opted for the classic design. She requested a few tweaks to the font and color palette, and this is the result.

Laura walked me through each step of the logo design process, with helpful tips and information. My logo looks great!

When Christy Hoss asked for a logo design that was whimsical, fun, friendly, and “screams of my personality,” the Blogging Bistro team delivered!

I’ve never had a logo before, but Laura’s team created on their first try, one that fits my personality, lifestyle and career PERFECTLY. When I saw it, my heart burst with joy and I did a happy dance, crying exuberant tears. My logo identifies the very heart of who I am. I will gladly use it on everything throughout my writing career. IODEA (Dr. José Balcells) — Logo Design

Founded by Dr. José Balcells, Iodea is a non-profit educational center dedicated to providing learner-centered, interactive biblical studies education. When we designed a logo for Iodea, our challenge was to create an icon that would resonate with both Spanish and English speakers. We detail the Iodea logo design process in this case study on our blog.

“Laura and her team did a great job developing an effective logo that represents elements from our vision and mission. She reviewed our organizational identity objectives and brainstormed ideas to refine an image that would transmit these ideals.
