Some bloggers don’t allow hyperlinks in comments because too many “spammy” people leave multiple links. But when creating your own blog post, you should be able to hyperlink to another site or to a page on your own site just fine.

i tried putting my anchor text and hyperlink into a blog post but it seems like they have moderated the comments to prevent hyperlink to go live. what can i do to work around?

Yes, John. If you know how to do HTML coding, you can add the anchor text inside the line of code. If you don’t know HTML, but want to see how the HTML looks, use the visual part of your text editor to create the link. Then click the HTML text editor and you can see exactly how the coded link looks. That will help you know how to do it for future links, should you prefer to code it yourself.

That’s some great helpful hints. But is it actually possible to link inside a post using html formatting to get an anchor text. I have never seen that before. Thanks for the tips
