I’m laughing over your comments. I’ve never heard “soup” pronounced “seaup” either. Kind of like they always pronounce “caramel” CARE-eh-mel to make it sound more sophisticated. In these here parts we just say CAR-mel.

Since I live in the Seattle area, I’m subjected to Bill Gates overload on a daily basis (our news media just can’t seem to get enough of him). So of course, I subscribed to Bill’s brand new Twitter account today (I was follower #193,000+; as of this minute, he has 223,838 followers). I wonder if he’ll follow me back?
